Class meetings

As it turns out, there is now a bus going from F'ton to SJ for a grad. course on Tuesdays, leaving at 8:30 and returning at 4. Our course has started and you all signed on on the understanding that it would be Mondays, in F'ton. But, I have been asked to ask you: any chance that you would be interested in migrating? In order to do so, everyone would have to be completely in agreement. Don't feel you have to reply publicly; you are welcome to email me.

I fully expect this will go nowhere, and justly so. But will throw it out anyway.

My Tuesdays are basically open, so I would be willing to change if that's the concensus.

I have a commitment on Tuesday mornings already, so I'd rather not change if possible ...

Can we do it in SJ, but keep it on Monday?

Okay, Tuesday is off the table.

Susie, if you and the others want to consider coming down together, even every second week as we have done in some years, that would certainly be fine as far as I am concerned. But that would be out of the goodness of your hearts and would have to be unanimous, as you all signed up expecting the classes to be in F'ton.

But, I'm already in SJ, so that means it would be out of the goodness of the others' hearts and for my own personal convenience. Though don't you all think a road trip would be fun? ;)

I would prefer not to have to commute... but if I'm the only one opposed then every other week would be ok.

Thanks for considering the various options. Sorry, Susie, but given that the appeal of communting is not universal (and I can't imagine why not!), we will continue as planned and meet on Mondays in F'ton.
