First class

Wonderful to meet you all. I think we will have a good term together. The blog addresses are flowing in — sort of — and I look forward to receiving more.

See you online, and again next week.

Thank you for persuading me into the world of blogging, Dr. Jones. I have been badgered about this for some time now, but never thought myself technologically able (computers tend not to like me; crashing seems to be a frequent occurrence-- touch wood, not in the past 4 weeks). And though I have spent some hours at the blog, doing relatively little, I have learned a great deal. Here is my blog thus far: "http://chageeya.blogspot.com/". A work in progress, but nevertheless a start.
I will now atempt to link it to your page, and link the others' to my page as well. We'll see what happens... laura

Ooops (attempt), I think you have to link it to your page, don't you?

Yes, I do. And I have.

Just googled "chageeya" and one person translated it as "a term of endearment like 'honey' or 'dear' or 'significant other'." Is that the sense in which you are using it?

Wow: I am impressed that google translated it so well; there seems to be variant transliterations. I was hoping to write some Korean on my page as well, but I haven't got the language functions figured out, yet!

Someone had translated it on their Live Journal site, someone who had also taught there, I think.
